Why is Lá Me?

Hello everybody,

Welcome to our restaurant! Are you curious in our name? Sure, you are!

Lá Me does not mean like "lame" in English - it has a space between "la" and "me". Lá Me is leaves of tamarind trees that we call in Vietnamese language.

Leaves of tamarind tree are small like our restaurant, and Vietnamese people usually like to eat tamarind fruit. Its taste is sour, but it's a good try! :)

Although we are a small restaurant, we serve the best of Vietnamese food in Dallas, TX.
